Apple Muesli
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So a balanced breakfast is very important. Apple muesli ensures you have a refreshing start to your day. The creamy natural yoghurt is rounded off by the apple compote and the crunch of the granola.

Granola40 g natural honey
10 g water
70 g oat flakes
20 g raw almonds
20 g hazelnuts
20 g cashews
10 g chia seeds
1 g table salt
Apple compote
200 g sour apples, e.g. Braeburn
20 g raw sugar
25 g lemon juice
2 g lemon zest
1 g cinnamon
1 g tonka beans

100 g natural yoghurt
50 g apple compote
15 g granola
How to make it
- Combine the honey and water.
- Add all the granola ingredients, mix and tip on to baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake to a golden brown at 150 °C.
- Dice the apples into cubes and add to pan.
- Add raw sugar and stew lightly.
- If desired, garnish with lemon zest, lemon juice, cinnamon and possibly ground tonka beans.
- Fill bowl with muesli, top with cooled apple compote and granola.
Expert tips and tricks
- Baking the granola to a golden brown gives it a more intensive yet finer taste.
- To roast the nuts and seeds, set the oven temperature slightly lower than usual.
